The Shaykh, after praising Allaah and sending salat and salaam upon the Messenger of Allaah, stated:
The topic in front of us is the saying of Allaah, the Exalted:
ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَلَمْ يَلْبِسُوٓا۟ إِيمَٰنَهُم بِظُلْمٍ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمُ ٱلْأَمْنُ وَهُم مُّهْتَدُونَ
All perfect praise be to Allaah, the Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His Slave and Messenger.
Angel’s Salaat upon the believers is explained by Hafidh Ibn Jawzi in two different statements;
What does “Acts of worship are tawqeefi” mean?.
Praise be to Allaah.
What is meant when the scholars say that acts of worship are tawqeefi or acts of worship are based on tawqeef is that it is not permissible to worship Allah, may He be exalted,
Shaykhul Islaam ibn Taymiyyah Said in “Kitaab Ilm as-Sulook” (Volume 10) of Majmoo’ al-Fataawa (Page 32):
